Look, it’s Tenley!

November 26, 2009

This family has come several times all the way from West Virgina to have Tenley’s picture taken. What better compliment could there be than someone going on a little road trip just to see me for pictures.

I love this little girl, she is so cute and personable. Her face is just so adorable and so is her whole personality. Everytime I see her she is all smiles and giggles.

This time Tenley’s mommy really wanted to get some pictures done outside so we went to Kinderfarn Park in Millersville. (I love that park.. not only for pictures but just to take my kids to) We had a lot of fun and Tenley was a busy be, running around and looking at all the animals.

First of all I want to say that Melanie and Jason are an amazingly handsome couple. That kind that you would see in a magazine. Wow!! Jason’s son, Nathan is a handsome little guy as well, just look at his gorgeous eyes!

Melanie and her bridesmaids were getting ready at her mom’s house in Pasadena. She had the biggest smile on her face the enitre time, it was too cute!
From there we went to Downs Park to meet up with the guys and have a little reveal – a private moment for Jason and Melanie, the first time for Jason to see Melanie in her wedding gown. It was so cute, ones Melanie walked up to them they looked at eachother and said “hey, how are you. Now what do we do?” Haha, I thought that was too cute.

We took a few minutes to do pictures of the bridal party at the park, before heading over to the church.

The ceremony took place at Lake Shore Baptist Church in Pasadena. It was a beautiful ceremony – I especially loved how the church played soft music while the minister was talking.. it made it all so much more emotional. Really pretty!

After the Ceremony and some more Formal photographs we were off to Turf Valley for the Reception. We actually ran ahead of time by almost an hour, so the Coctail hour was almost two hours instead of one. It was nice as it gave Melanie and Jason a chance to talk to their guest already before the reception started.

The reception was lots of fun. I love it when bride and groom are both out on the dancefloor and enjoy their party!!
The DJ, Chris, was some kind of magnet to the kids and basicly had his own little daycare behind the DJ table. Too funny!

More Twins!!!

November 12, 2009

Wow, two sets of twins in one week, I think that is a first for me.

Quinn and Kira are no strangers to me. This was the third time I got to take their pictures and they are as cute as ever! The last time I saw them they were 6 month old, now they are 18 month old, walking and starting to talk. I love it when I get to see my little clients grow.

Quinn has always been a charmer.. a real “ladiesman”. Whenever he came to the studio he was the one smiling and calm, when usually Kira is the smiley one. And he is still a little Charmer. I love him.
Kira I have always met as this more than adorable serious little girl … and boy is she still adorable.. but not so serious anymore. She flashed me plenty of smiles this time! It was so great to see them again!!!

Mommy To Be

November 12, 2009

Deanah is 29 weeks pregnant with a baby girl. She was worried she might get swollen further into the pregnancy and decided to do the pictures a little earlier than usual.

Her and her husband are such a handsome couple, I can’t wait to see what their baby will look like!!! Here a few of her belly shots…

Cuteness in a double pack!

November 11, 2009

These adorable 6 month old twins are Kiran and Norah. Despite not napping that morning they were in the best mood we could have hoped for. Such dolls! I had so much fun with these two munchkins!

Reesa and Julie had a very unique and memorable Wedding. Everything took place at the Irvine Nature Center in Owings Mills.

Since Maryland unfortunately still does not legalize gay marriages, this wedding was a Commitment Ceremony but they also had a Jewish Ceremony.

Reesa and Julie decided to split the day up a little differently. First they had a ceremony that was held by the family and themselves. It was so beautiful and intimate. The Family spoke to them and they spoke to eachother. This ceremony was one of the most heartfelt Ceremonies I have ever witnessed. The people that really matter in the relationship (parents, friends and of course the couple) spoke from their heart. So beautiful!!!

This Ceremony was followed by an appetizer reception, a very nice and laid back mingeling with fun snack foods.

After that, the second ceremony began, which was a traditional jewish ceremony (Reesa and Julie are both jewish). Unfortunately it started raining right before the ceremony and everything had to be moved inside last minute.

This ceremony was followed by a second reception.. a dessert reception.

I was amazed by how close the whole family seemed to be with eachother. Throughout the ceremony I saw people hugging and holdings hands everywhere. It was amazing! So much love in one place!!

Reesa and Julie, thank you for letting me be part of your amazing day! I wish you all the best!

This is 3 month “old” Sean. He is so frikkin adorable.. just look at him!!! I love little chubby babies! He was all happy and content during the photosession… just such cutie pie!!

… at the beautiful Patapsco State Park that is now covered in brown, yellow and red leaves. Did I mention I love that place?

Jake and I had been emailing back and forth for a while to figure out a location for the engagement shoot and we decided to go to the State Park. They both liked it a lot and I was happy it worked out for them

Jake and Jen are a really fun couple and I enjoyed climbing around in the park with them. I am looking foward to their wedding in april next year!!!

I want to post this Blog before I am off to bed since I am pretty sure Caroline is sitting on pins and needles ;)

Caroline is such a sweetheart and her and Kevin make the cutest couple. I met Caroline a little while ago when she came over to talk about wedding photography, but the day of the engagement session was my first time meeting Kevin. Seeing them together was a joy!!

Our session was scheduled for last saturday but the weather report was looking less than pretty. For a good week we emailed back and forth, trying to come up with a back up date. In the end we moved the session to sunday. While saturday morning ended up being nice after all, sunday was gorgeous!

We met in Fells Point and just walked around town for a while, taking advantage of all the pretty colorful doors, gates and homes. Fells Point is so much fun!!

I am really excited to shoot their wedding on july 16th 2010!!

Not one Bride but TWO !!!!

October 22, 2009

Meghan and Heather met with me quite a while ago and I loved them both instantly. They are just such a fun and easy going couple. I was thrilled when they chose me to be their wedding photographer.

The wedding was on October 17th at the beautiful Celebrations at the Bay.

Now, this wedding is the perfect example, that no matter what goes wrong it all doesnt matter because everyone is going to have a good time nonetheless.

It was pouring rain the day of the wedding and ones we got to the location some crazy wind mixed into the rain (with it being right at the water I guess the wind just picked up). So we decided that the Formal pictures will be taken inside, which we did.

The younger one of the two absolutely adorable flowergirls did a great job walking down the aisle – picking up after the big girl who dared to throw flower petals on the ground. Haha… it was hysterical!!

During the reception there was a – let’s just say mishap – but everything was back on track quickly.

The day was beautiful none the less. I was watching Meghan and Heather throughout the day and there is just so much love in between them. At one point I was actually getting teary eyed, just watching them dance.

Then there was this darn cute little ringbearer…. 3 years old and for whatever reason loving me. He was literally attached to my pants throughout the entire reception (see picture). Now, some of you know that I have two kids … but I have no clue, whatsoever, what to do with other peoples kids. I felt charmed – and completely helpless. Haha, I think he was quite alright with that! He is such a cutie pie!!

Aaaaanyway, to make a long story short…

Heather and Meghan, you guys ROCK!
